Yes. To take an online course you must have access to a computer with an Internet connection and an email account. A broadband Internet connection is preferable.

Our Learning Management System (LMS) and the 'Players' for each of our course modules are supported by both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.

The course can accessed from a range of browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.

To access and get the most out of our free demonstrations, free quizzes and our online energy course, you will need to have a computer with a sound card.

Please note: You will still be able to complete our online energy course even if you don’t have sound as it is fully supported by a detailed transcript.

Because the audio plays automatically when you open a demo, quiz or course, if you take a course in an open work area, you should mute the audio or use headphones as the sound may disturb your colleagues.

To view some of the documents on our website and our learning management system, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader.  If you do not already have this software, please follow this link to download the latest version. http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Follow Adobe's instructions for installing the Reader.

If you have any problems with the download or installation of Adobe Reader, consult the Adobe Reader Troubeshooting Guide.  http://www.adobe.com/support/reader/

Our online course is very easy to navigate!  When you get access to your course, we recommend that you check out the help section to get some tips on how to navigate the learning management system and the course ‘players’.
